1) Publisher Information

This Privacy Policy applies to the application Matcho QA Portal, published and operated by:

FiolaSoft Studio s.r.o. operates the domains fiolasoft.cz, fiolasoft.com, and fiolasoft.net. The Matcho QA Portal is hosted on qa.it.fiolasoft.net.

2) Description of the Portal

The Matcho QA Portal is an internal tool of FiolaSoft Studio s.r.o., used to organize playtests for our video game development. Testers may log in using their Epic Games Account, which links them to our organization group. This allows us to grant access to development builds (“dev branch”) on the Epic Games Launcher for testing purposes, even prior to official release.

The Portal is not a public service. Only individuals who are manually verified by FiolaSoft Studio gain access to the playtest environment. While the login page is technically accessible to anyone who knows the URL, successful access to testing resources requires explicit authorization by our team.

3) Data we collect

We only collect and store the following identifiers provided by Epic Online Services at login:

• Display Name
• Epic Games Store Username
• Epic Account ID

No passwords are collected. Authentication relies solely on Epic Online Services. No additional personal information is stored. Data is not linked to other services and is not used within the game itself.

4) Purpose and legal basis

These identifiers are processed exclusively for:

• user authentication in the Matcho QA Portal,
• verifying eligibility to participate in playtests,
• organizing internal QA sessions.

Legal basis: Performance of a service you voluntarily access (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

5) Data handling and security

Identifiers are stored in a secure database, protected by encryption. Access is restricted to authorized employees of FiolaSoft Studio s.r.o. The Portal does not use the data for profiling, marketing, or analytics. No data is shared or sold to third parties.

6) Data retention

Identifiers are kept only for the duration of the playtest or for as long as your access to the Portal remains active. Once a playtest ends or you request removal, your data is permanently deleted from our systems without undue delay and in any case within 30 days.

8) Your rights under GDPR

You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In the Czech Republic, this is the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.gov.cz).

9) International transfers

We do not intentionally transfer your identifiers outside the EEA. If such a transfer were necessary, we would implement GDPR-compliant safeguards.

10) Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data processed by the Portal. Authentication is handled entirely via Epic Online Services and no passwords are stored. Access to our systems is logged and monitored.

11) About Epic Games’ privacy practices

We do not make any claims about what Epic Games does or does not do with user data. Epic Games maintains its own privacy relationship with Epic users, as communicated in the official Epic Games Privacy Policy: https://www.epicgames.com/site/en-US/privacypolicy.

12) Content guidelines

This Privacy Policy and the Matcho QA Portal are designed to adhere to the Epic Games Store content guidelines.

13) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated by updating this page.
